Description
A full, dense, almost mineral shape.
This medallion is created from a volume first made of fused glass.
A piece with slow, balanced curves serves as a matrix for making a mould into which solid silver is poured. The glass disappears, but its memory remains in every line.
In polished silver, the surface captures the light with depth.
The jewel has weight, poise and a bold presence.

Workshop note
Each medallion is cast individually.
Slight variations in volume and surface are evidence of the craftsmanship involved.

Care
Glass is very resistant and can be brought into contact with water.
On the other hand, to preserve silver and vermeil, it is recommended to avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes and chemicals.
Store the jewelry separately to protect the glass and the metal finish.
Clean gently with a soft cloth.
Production
Hand-cut glass fused at high temperature in my workshop in the Laurentians.
Each piece is made one by one:
The glass is cut, melted and polished, then mounted on solid silver or vermeil, also hand-crafted.
Slight variations may exist — they are part of the unique character of each creation.
