Description
This small medallion is made from a piece of glass created in my workshop, then molded to receive sterling silver. The glass, slightly textured by the fusing process, retains a soft and luminous presence, enhanced by the warmth of the vermeil gold.
Designed as a discreet piece of jewelry, it is worn close to the neck, on a daily basis, letting the material and the light speak for themselves.
Vermeil is a precious metal composed of solid silver covered with a thick layer of 14-karat gold. Its coating is thicker and more durable than traditional plating.

Workshop note
Each piece of glass is created individually. Variations in color, transparency, or texture are an integral part of the artisanal process and make each medallion unique.

Care
Glass is very resistant and can be brought into contact with water.
On the other hand, to preserve silver and vermeil, it is recommended to avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes and chemicals.
Store the jewelry separately to protect the glass and the metal finish.
Clean gently with a soft cloth.
Production
Hand-cut glass fused at high temperature in my workshop in the Laurentians.
Each piece is made one by one:
The glass is cut, melted and polished, then mounted on solid silver or vermeil, also hand-crafted.
Slight variations may exist — they are part of the unique character of each creation.
